How the evening goes

  1. 1

    Welcome.

Chutneys and papadums are already on the tables when your guests arrive.

  2. 2

    The talk (45–60 min).

Leron tells the story. A few volunteers join her on stage to shape a naan or blend spices, and the whole room plays "guess the spice".

  3. 3

    Dinner.

A real Indian meal, served as a buffet, with a pani puri bar where everyone fills their own.

  4. 4

    Questions over dessert.

Leron and Binyamin go from table to table.

Choose your evening

Each evening combines chapters of about 15 to 20 minutes. We adapt the mix to your audience.

01

The Jews of India

Who are the Bene Israel, who kept Shabbat on India's coast for 2,000 years? And how did the Jews of India (Bene Israel, Cochin and Baghdadi) come home to Israel?

Ideal for synagogues and communities.

02

One kitchen, three journeys

India, Algeria, France: the Bene Israel, the day an Algerian Jewish family, the Abo family, met them, and a Toulousain who fell for India through Leron.

Ideal for French-speaking and North African communities.

03

The Spice Alchemyst: science & spices

From a PhD in microbiology to a kosher Indian kitchen: what science teaches about spices, and how Kosher India was built.

Ideal for companies, universities and professional groups.
